Agricultural Machinery Engineering and Mechanization

The Department of Agricultural Machinery Engineering and Mechanization has a rich history of 35 years as an academic field in the Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources University of Khuzestan. Since the Cultural Revolution, the group has continued its educational activities through various programs, including associate degrees in technical affairs, discontinuous-bachelor's degrees in agricultural machinery, bachelor's degrees in agricultural machinery, bachelor's and master's degrees in biosystem engineering, and bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees in agricultural mechanization across various technical fields. The group has also engaged in valuable collaborative activities with executive organizations through research and consulting. The agricultural machinery testing center approved by the Ministry of Agriculture is one of the most specialized agricultural machinery testing centers in the country. Graduates of the group possess a sound scientific foundation and have demonstrated exceptional performance in post-graduate examinations over the years. A significant number of the group's alumni are currently serving as members of academic staff at universities across the country. The department's faculty members (11 persons) specialize in biosystem engineering and mechanization and have produced high-quality articles at both national and international levels. Additionally, they have patented numerous inventions. The department's workshops collection provides educational and research services through the collaboration of two experts and three operators.

 The department's workshops and laboratories encompass a range of areas, including strength of materials, physical properties of agricultural products, tractors, electricity and electronics, machine tools, engine technology, hydraulics and  welding, energy, and agricultural automation and robotic.
